“Oh, aaa...when are you coming back again? Oh, and what are we going to do tomorrow? Oh, are you going to dye our faces? – with such a questions we were met and chased every day until we would say goodbye. It was an evening camp titled “More precious than gold”, that has been held in Kiev since June 20 through 24. We had about 15 children coming on the daily basis, but they were not the same ones. Throughout the camp we've learned together with kids about the lives of many renowned athletes who regardless of their fame and accomplishments had attributed all their wins to God.
In early June, at the rest base of village Zalissya, Rivne region an English Christian camp took place. The project included people aged 16 and older who are interested in learning English but don’t have personal relationships with God yet. There were about 30 students and 15 team members of evangelistic ministry in English at Salvation Church from Rivne. By teaching free English lessons, actively including American teachers-missionaries, we spread the Good News among the participants of the camp, built relationships with them and helped them to get to know who God is, and make decisions in his favor.
Right after the final day of the school year at the Rivne Ukrainian Gymnasium has been held a Christian day camp. It had been already the fifth year in a row that organization IPO “Hope to people” hosts such a camp which is supervised by Ruslana Kovalchuk for children of grades 5-7.
I greet you with the love of the Lord Jesus Christ. I would like to tell you a little about my missionary service for Udegey ethnic group. It had been almost three years since I am involved in the project entitled “Far East 3x3.” This project had been arranged for translation of Bible stories in Udegey language by working together with the mission of “Wycliffe.” Approximately sometime in between March and April 2016 we have completed the translation of 25 Bible stories. Praise to God that the project came into a play! Our team consists of 5 persons, all of us are brothers. There are only 3 000 of Udegey as a nation remaining. We found a place where they all live compactly. This is in Khabarovsk region, the countryside called Gvasyugi. There are residing about 200 people. Right here, in this village, the Lord gave us 2 interpreters who know their native language pretty good. Also in the Primorye in Pozharsky district, at the village of Krasny Yar. There are living 600 Udegey people, and about 100 people live in Terneisky region of Primorsky area. We have been working in all of these three areas within this time.
